I hope everyone's has had a fantastic Holiday season and their New Years is off to a wonderful start.

New Years resolutions. LOL I don't know why I bother but I keep trying anyway to make a few.
This year, I'm gonna try to keep up with art. I usually end up getting busy with the kids, especially in the fall, spring and summer and it seems the older they get the more they do. They start making friends and doing sleep overs and movies and you know who's got to take them?

And a few others are to organize my house, start writing again and submit something by the end of the year to either an agent or Wings epress. Lose the weight I've gained this winter, hiding from the piles of snow outside. Keep in touch with my friends better. I seem to get busy with life and end up not talking to them, but I think about it and never make the time to do so. Play with my dog more and be nicer to my husband. He pisses me off a lot lately especially when I'm pmsing. He seems to have the knack of knowing how to set me off. So I will pray for more patience. LOL



Practice the viola more often to set a good example for the kids. I've slacked off with the holidays. My kids have an awesome music teacher. She's letting me join in with the class to learn to play and even let me use a school instrument that no one was using. That's why it's a viola and not the violin. My daughter has the violin soooo that's what's important. My son's playing the Cello and hates it. I keep telling him to give it the year and he's such a little monster. The class is after school on Thursdays and I lug his instrument to school, along with mine and my daughters, and he skips out and goes home. He's the one who wanted to play in the first place, and now this. But I think some of it has to do with that he wasn't able to play for nearly two months because he'd broken his arm while Camping with Boy Scouts. So he lost interest. Now he wants to play the drums, saxophone anything but the Cello. It's a beautiful instrument, I hope he at least lasts out the year. Next Thursday, I'm gonna wait for his bus and then go to the school. If he skips out, he's gonna have a surprise.

So, I think that just about covers everything I intend... but I'd be happy if I succeed in one or two things. And I'd like to learn something new this year, last was the Viola so now I've gotta come up with something new to learn.

P.S. I've got tens of thousands of deviations to look through so I'm gonna just delete them and start from scratch, if I don't this is overwhelming. Also same for comments and going around thanking people for the watches. So I'm going to thank everyone for the watches and favs right here. And start from a clean slate. Maybe this time I can keep up and enjoy being here. I think it gets overwhelming when you try to keep up. I have so many awesome and talented artists to look at here.
